What is a flare igniter?

The Flare Ignition Device is designed to eliminate cumbersome installation, poor flame detection, and burned-up wires and nozzles. It efficiently ignites and reignites flares in the most demanding and extreme flare stack environments.

How does a flare ignition device work?

The launcher uses compressed air to drive a pellet through the guide tube up to the flare tip/deck. Once the pellet exits the guide tube, the fuse is released and the pellet explodes producing a shower of sparks over the flare tip and any associated pilot burners thereby lighting the gas.

Working principle of flare ignition devicce

The flare ignition device is used to light the waste gas in oil and gas industry. It is connected with poor boy degasser, which separate gas from drilling mud and vent gas to flare ignition device

Burn the harmful or poisonous gas by igniter will eliminate threaten to environment and safety. Every flare ignition device will be operated together with mud gas separator. They will be connected with the vent line or gas discharge line. They are widely used in oil and gas drilling.
Besides traditional flare igniter, Aipu also manufacture the ignition device with solar panel. The battery will be charged under sun energy. This is more environmental-friendly with green energy.
